Ecclesiastes 4 starts out a little negative . . . but for good reason. Solomon is honest and up front with us: the world is evil and harsh. Evil seems to win, and nothing makes sense. But, by the end of this chapter, Solomon consoles himself by realizing that he is leaving a legacy. We are too! Yes, life is hard, but God is good. And we have a responsibility to leave a legacy of godliness.
