On this episode of the iDisciple Podcast, iDisciple CEO David Henriksen is joined by Jimi Cravity, an Atlanta-based worship leader and talented musician. Jimi stopped by the iDisciple offices to share a devotional with our staff and perform a few songs off of Heaven, his debut EP with sixstepsrecords. Afterwards he took some time out of his busy schedule to sit down with David and share his inspirations for the album as well as his thoughts on faith and culture.
Jimi was born and raised in Atlanta, where he still resides today with his wife. In his early 20’s, he signed his first publishing deal with Bu Vision/Universal Music Publishing Group and soon after his music began making its way into the hands of incredible producers and artists like Ludacris and Usher. Eventually Jimi found a home at Passion City Church in Atlanta, pastored by Louie and Shelley Giglio Eventually he began to lead worship there and has since been featured at Passion Conferences and on their 2016 worship album. He recently released his Heaven EP, and is going on tour this fall with label mate David Crowder.
We pray that this episode will change the way you view worship music and the role Christians should play in influencing culture!
