Laura Long was born and raised in Port Royal, Virginia. As a teenager, she was chosen to be a part of the Governor's School of Performing Arts at the University of Richmond where she began her studies in theatre. Within that time, she was awarded "Best Actress" by the Virginia Theatrical Association two years in a row, in 2009 and 2010 for her stage work. A student at London's Identity School of Acting, she continues her career in working in commercials, television, and film. She's best known for her recurring role as Becky Franks in AMC's "TURN: Washington's Spies" as well as "For All Mankind" and "Criminal Minds"
