Barbara S. Hennessy owns and operates "The Joy Within LLC", a private practice of emotional trauma recovery and chronic pain relief.  She is a Level One certified BrainSweep Intervention System coach and has completed the Level One Employee Family Support Program (EFSP) training for Employee Support Worker.  Most recently she has been appointed the Director of the Brainsweep Academy in the United States. 

Barbara has over 20 years of experience assisting people with disabilities.  She has worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with a specialty caseload of deaf/hard of hearing people for the State of Florida.  She then worked as a program manager for employment services at Abilities of Florida (now ServiceSource of Florida).  She supervised ten staff members in Central and South Florida that provided services for Vocational Rehabilitation clients.
