Stephanie grew up in a strong family culture that differed from her community. At times this made her feel out of place. She didn't look like the beauty standard of the day that nor did she enjoy many of the same foods as her classmates. When Stephanie saw Kim Kardashian, someone who looked like her, she began to recognize her own beauty. She learned to work with her thick hair and love the skin she was in. Stephanie shares her journey into extraocular activities and routines that keep her grounded. She regularly performs circus arts and practices arco yoga, both having taught her trust.
