From the show

A lot of us have grown up where we  have had problems being sick and tired and we kind of think it is almost normal… you don’t have to be.

… especially things like sleep.  We have such a 24/7 society right now and that wasn’t always the way so we lose track of the more natural ways and people tend to think “what’s sleep!  We can get away with 6 hours a night and we can burn the candle at both ends?” But that is setting us up for sickness down t he line and tiredness and fatigue.

The last thing that somebody needs  when they are trying to dig themselves out of a hole is to lose sight of the sun or the light.  And we want that .  We want that encouragement and being coached by someone who has done it before  or somebody who understands the path,  just like what you do, what I do, and all the different coaches out there, all bring to the table the experience and, hopefully, the understanding  of the story behind it and being able to go forward because you will have doubts.

Absolutely, the body is not a static machine like a car.  It is very, very agile.  We have systems  that will help us clean out once we get started but we have to make sure the changes we are making are  changes in the right direction.  What I find with a  lot of people is they make very small changes in one direction , expecting a certain result out of it.  It’s like you were saying “I’m going to the gym” and if your form is not good you can be slow and  be puffing and breathing hard .  If your form is not good your muscles will  probably not be responding in the correct way and you may get some sort of an ailment out of that or some sort of a set back by that.

So start now wherever you are.
