Dr. David Hill, Psy.D., is the owner of Discovery Psychological Services. He has have worked in a wide variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, community clinics, drug treatment clinics, and within the juvenile justice system.

Dr Hill has been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral, and various other theories. In addition, his approach is grounded in neuropsychology and modern imaging studies. This allows him to choose from and integrate a wide range of therapeutic approaches when addressing the needs of his patients. It is his belief that the treatment should be tailored specifically to the needs of the patient and that each patient is an expert regarding their lived experience and personal challenges.

In his practice, he enjoys working with teens and adults from various cultural and economic backgrounds. He integrates mindfulness and existential approaches into therapy, and also enjoys working in transpersonal and spiritual areas. He welcomes members of the LGBT community, kink community, those with alternative religious leanings, and those in non-traditional relationships.
