On March 21, 1985, Sherry Byrne told her husband that she was going to meet up with family friends, David and Kathy Brewer regarding audio speakers. When Sherry arrived though, she found David alone and the invitation to be a ruse. Brewer then raped, abducted and murdered Byrne. Brewer was convicted of Byrne's murder and sentenced to death.
