It's great that we had a little time last week to work on our family history because this week it looks like we're going to be learning about keeping a journal. Did you know that keeping a journal “counts” as doing family history? You're recording your own personal history and that's worth a lot to the people who come after us.

To be completely transparent – I am a horrible journal keeper. Frankly, I use Instagram and Facebook as my journals. That and some photo backups. You'll get no judgement from me on how well you keep your own journal.
