As Jim Rohn said “You are the average of the 5 people you hang with”. Another way of looking at this is that in real estate, we say “location, location, location” meaning you can change everything else except the location and therefore location is the most valuable component in the real estate purchase. In relationships, the environments (work, church, extra curricular activities) and the circles (spouse/partners, family, friends, etc) you surround yourself with create AND support your life experience. And so, if we conclude that “Environment, environment, environment” is equally as powerful, wouldn’t it be wise to choose the most influential environments to be associated with?
