This week on the podcast, I break down Prince’s book on his life, entitled ‘The Beautiful Ones,’ edited by Dan Piepenbring. Part 3 is a nuanced deeper look into Prince's life and how propelled his songwriting to the highest heights. The second part of the book is in scrapbook form, personal pictures from Prince's life with him riffing off what these pictures meant to us. We learn that creation is nuanced, random, but works only if one is consistent, with their own vision. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did reading and recording it.
