Te Mātāwai opens an Investment Round annually to support initiatives that revitalise the Māori language in Aotearoa. It's important to know that each Kāhui ā-iwi (regional cluster) has investment priorities that align with the principles and goals within their rohe.

In this episode, Carel Smith and Brenda Soutar discuss the priorities for Te Reo Tukutuku in the 2023 Te Mātāwai Investment Round. Unlike the Kāhui ā-iwi, Te Reo Tukutuku is our sector based Kāhui which involves multiple entities under the following arms - Te Mātāuranga (Education), Pāpāho (Māori Media), Hapori (Community) and Te Hunga Noho Taone (Urban-Māori).
