This episode's Back Doctor is Dr. George Joachim. Dr. Joachim shares a story of a dual sport high school athlete with a back injury.

Dr. Joachim attended Ohio State University and completed his Doctoral work at the National College in Chicago. He completed his hospital rotation at Edgewater Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Joachim is Board Certified in Rehabilitation.

Dr Joachim has lectured nationally and internationally on the conservative treatments for low back and neck pain. He is part of the post graduate faculty at the National University of Health Science. His personal background involves a strong athletic career as a collegiate "Big 10" competitor, to more recently, a Bronze medal winning United States National Bobsled athlete.
