Our final episode in our Enneagram and Tarot series! Wow. Can you believe we’ve made it through all nine types and all twenty-two major arcana cards.
In this episode, we talk all about type nine (co-host Anna’s type!) and our two tarot cards: The Hanged Man and Strength.
These cards are sort of contrary to what you might think when you initially consider them. While the Hanged Man often depicts a character in a predicament (tied up, stuck in a tree, etc.), they are usually only stuck by choice. They have the power and resources to change their circumstances - if only they choose to. Likewise, our lovely type nines can often find themselves avoiding decisions by procrastinating, but they truly do have everything they need if they are willing to tap into their inner strength.
Speaking of Strength… This card is not about muscle or assertiveness. It is about the gentle strength we all possess internally to create change when we are acting from our highest self. This card is a type nine’s hidden superpower: the ability to influence for good using their incredible capacity for empathy and perspective.
