Initially, when we think about a "Resurrection Season", we imagine this magnificent comeback story and rise to victory. What we fail to consider is what had to first DIE before it came back to LIFE. In this season of my life, I have found that there are very unfortunate events that can occur in our lives, in order to foreshadow the life of Jesus. Jesus lived a great life, but went through many trials and tribulations. This sermon is a reminder to all that if you are wanting to live a life for Christ, we must be ready to be persecuted in the manner he was. Do not lose hope, knowing that our symbolic death will lead to our symbolic RESURRECTION! -gt
