Genesis: The Beginning of Everything

Based on Genesis 1:1–2:3

Before there was land, sea, sky, sun, moon, stars, animals, or people—God was already there.

In this episode, we explore Genesis 1 the way ancient listeners may have heard it: a world covered by darkness and the deep, where God brings order out of chaos by His word. We look at the heavens, the waters above and below, the dry land, the lights in the sky, the creatures of sea and land, and humans made in God’s image.

We also follow this theme through the rest of the Bible, where Psalms and prophets describe God ruling the raging sea, defeating Leviathan and Rahab, and promising a day when chaos will be gone forever.

God speaks. Creation obeys. Order comes. Life grows. Peace follows.
