As a homeschooler, I'm constantly reading this or that book to share with the kids. Recently I found myself knee deep in Aesop's Fables, and I came across a short story about a fox and a toad that made me think of the henna community. While I won't spoil the story for you here in the show notes, I will say this: there are plenty of quack toads out there who would be more than happy to give you bad advice about how to grow your technical and business skills (and charge you a fee for it, too). In today's episode, I'm talking openly about my thoughts on what it takes to be a mentor, what I recommend when it comes time to choosing someone to support you in your business, and giving you some tips on how to get the information you need to build your henna business regardless of your budget.
