Krystyna Matczak is an educator and writer. She earned her MFA from City College of New York, and she currently teaches orphans in Iraq for the non-profit: World Academy of Development. We discuss, among other topics, acclimating to a new, vastly different culture; some of the causes and possible solutions to the woes of Iraq and its people; and the process and experience of writing.
