This episode of Sets For Life is a little different from the norm. In this episode 20 year coaching veteran Kyle Adams reminds leaders that it is crucial that we keep the big picture in mind at all times.

As coaches it’s easy to get caught up in the wins and losses but what matters most is what our players go on to do 20+ years down the road. 

As coaches we must remember that we are educators first. We have to take more responsibility and be more intentional about developing well rounded people. Winning championships is just a by product of doing things the right way and going through the process.

It is becoming more and more apparent that many student-athletes are struggling once the lights go off. It is up to us as coaches, leaders, and role models to be intentional changing this narrative. It is our responsibility to create savages who are ready to tackle every obstacle life throws at them.
