Is there a separation between God and us? Did sin really separated me from God? Is there a daily battle I have to fight in order to be spiritual?

Do I have to make an effort to be closer to heaven?

Just a few question I had before but have been answered now. Thanks to the incarnation of Christ he reconciled all things back to Him. Yes that includes you, and our daily mundane tasks.
