015 - Lesson #5: Why I Started Start to Finish Marketing

I don’t know who needs to hear this but you need to stop treating marketing like a random Tinder date. Marketing isn’t just a “one-night-stand” with random strangers on the internet. There are real people on the other side of your computer screen and we need to stop labeling people as “dead leads”. 

This week, I am sharing why I started Start to Finish Marketing and why I don’t believe in “lead generation”. One of the major lessons I’ve learned since launching my business is that cultivating strong relationships with other individuals is far more important than any dollar amount. When you are providing value and consistently pouring into other people’s lives, you begin to realize that marketing is only a step in the right direction, not the end-all-be-all. 

In order to gain the level of success you are trying to achieve, you are going to have to start treating people like epic human beings and not just a “swipe right” for financial gain.
