Amanda is a happy, 10 year old from San Diego. She is a straight A, 5th grade student who attends an amazing local charter school. When she's not in school, she enjoys sports, youth groups at her church and playing with her friends and siblings. Amanda loves God, loves her family and loves her country. She has aspirations to be a doctor when she grows up. Her focus the last two years has been learning to play softball with her dad and some dedicated team coaches. She's made it to All-Stars both years and is now playing on a select team representing her community in various tournaments. Through softball, she is learning the value of determination, courage and team work. She is currently raising money for her girls fast pitch softball team through a Hit-a-Thon.
