Chidera is a 22 years old Nigerian who built websites and apps with a Nokia 2690 feature phone from the rural area of Port Harcourt at age 12, before he got recognized by MIT.

At age 19, from rural Nigeria, he got a job as an Android developer with DotLearnin the US.

When he was 12 years old, a family member gave him a phone, a Nokia 2690. He would save for weeks to buy a 10MB internet bundle for 100 Naira ( $0.28) which could last a month.

Using this phone, he developed websites and built an app, learnt HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

At 14, he launched an app called XmXMe, which made text messages cheaper and easier to send.

Currently, Chidera is the software Engineer with #DeliveryHero, the largest global food network (outside China) and the leading online food ordering firm operating in 50 Markets fulfilling 5 million + orders daily.

He resides in the US with a 01 visa (a visa awarded to individuals with exceptional gifts) and loves to ship out projects to help humans live well. He is the co-developer of Prepup, a standardized tests app that has helped 120,000+ high school students in West Africa prepare for standardized tests.
