Peter Mengede is a Brisbane raised guitarist who moved to the other side of the world to co-found the hugely popular Noise Rock/Groove rock band, Helmet. Life after Helmet, Peter also went onto to found another very solid rock band in the form of Handsome and has toured the world in both bands. Peter talks about his journey from a teenager in Brisbane, to emptying out Brownstones in Manhattan for minimum wage, before embarking on world tours with acts like Faith No More, Ministry, The Melvins and many other high profile bands of the 90’s.
