On the last day of his quarantine, HFX Wanderers centre back and co-captain Peter Schaale joins me to talk about his downtime since the Island Games!
We talk about which quarantine/lock down was more difficult, adjusting this time around, and how it's impacted preparation for the new season. Peter shares news about his new opportunities the club have helped facilitate, and updates me on his citizenship and employment situation.
Peter also tells me about his time in Victoria this summer, how hard work humbles, and gives me his thoughts on past, present, and future teammates. I ask Peter how it feels to be named to CBU's all-decade team, and we once and for all settle on how to pronounce his last name.
Peter is beloved by all here in Halifax, and we are happy to hear he's returning for 2021, 2022, and hopefully beyond!
