An avid runner for more than 30 years, criminal defense attorney Rand Mintzer collapsed at mile 15 while running the Houston Marathon in January 2017. Rand blacked out before he even hit the pavement from a full cardiac arrest. As luck would have it, about a half-dozen bystanders came to his aid and were able to immediately performed CPR. Rand was later told he was dead for eight minutes. He talks about his experience, his outlook on life since, and also about a book he authored, Thirty-Three Years of Running in Circles. Now, Rand's mission is to encourage people to learn CPR and increase the chance of saving someone else's life, too. This is Rand's story....
