The Bottom Line on KCLR

#016: The Bottom Line - Plastic Free Shopping, New Business in Carlow, Precision Agri & Future Health

Listen Later

In this weeks episode of The Bottom Line on KCLR John Purcell was speaking with Damien Finn Branch Manager of Lyons & Burton around their agri business which recently opened in Carlow.

Climate change is a very hot topic at present and the environmentally friendly products business is an emerging and rapidly growing business sector but to date the number of businesses focusing solely on this area is quite small. John caught up with Fiona Smiddy of greenoutlook.ie about her business, how it came about and plans for the future of her environmentally friendly business.

In advance of the Amplitude Conference which takes place in the Lyrath Estate Hotel on November 6th we’ll be talking about exciting developments in the health and pharmaceutical sector as well as ground breaking developments in Smart Agriculture all taking place in the Innovation Centres in our local IT’s.

Produced by Deirdre Dromey.
