Annette talks about foundational living. Foundational living is putting God first — our relationship with Him and Jesus through the help of Holy Spirit. We need to identity the heart issue that is keeping us from Christ we can never fill the void in our heart with anything else except for God because He created us with that desire to know Him. Priorities are wrong— God first—through Jesus 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life— no one comes to the Father except through me.

Vertical love first which gives us love peace and joy— and then horizontal with family, spouse, friend. - 1st commandment love God with all your heart soul and mind ““Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Matthew 22:36-37

Spiritual warfare —— finding happiness in material things instead of God—living in fear—- replace all with the truth. Phil 4:4-7. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:4-7

Enemy of the world is spiritual not not flesh (“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 NLT
