The Marketer’s Mindset Episode 017 with Brian Burkard
Welcome back to the Marketer’s Mindset, the podcast where we talk about
how to create and sustain a Powerful Mindset to help you build a
successful online business and lead a happy and abundant life.
My name is Brian Burkard and today I want to talk about “How Tough is Your Mind?”
* listened to a Tony Robbins video today called “How Tough is Your Mind?”
* The big Idea that hit me from this video was when Tony said…”The Chokehold
on the growth of your business is always you!”
It’s both your psychology and your skill.
80% is the psychology, while 20% is the skill.
You can have the best strategies to run your online business, but if…
– you are stressed out
– you have limiting beliefs
– you’re overwhelmed
Then you will not execute the strategies you need to build a successful online
business.
So how do you build that mental toughness? You do what Tony says which is
“Priming”
You need to have a daily ritual, preferably in the morning to start your day
where you get yourself in a strong and positive mindset! It can be as little
as 5 min in the morning, but preferably 10 to 15 min.
2 main things that you need to be aware of is your physiology and your Language.
We all have a “Monkey Brain” that won’t shut up and if left unattended, can make
your life hell.
So here is what I want you to do as soon as you are done with this podcast
I want you to create a 10 to 15 min ritual that you will do every morning
and preferably before you do anything else
2 powerfull things for me are Gratitude and Pryer!
– meditation
– read something inspiring
– listen to something inspiring
– talk a wake outside and be in nature
Make it a must and something that you do every day
Take action and take control of your mind and your life!!!
