Joel Merritt shares about being a 4th generation member of a 12,000 acre family farm in California, which also included a 65,000 acre cattle operation, and leaving it all at age 39 to relocate his family to Indiana at God's leading, He talks about how through that journey, he lost over 100 lbs, was freed from alcoholism and other health issues, and now enjoys a thriving marriage, family and two other successful businesses in Indiana.

Who is Joel Merritt?

Joel Merritt grew up in a farming community in Central California, in a God-fearing, all-American farming family, and took a path that led him to realize deteriorating health and obesity, alcoholism, broken relationships, depression and anxiety.

At age 39, Joel left the family farm in California for Indiana, leaving behind the known for the unknown with only his immediate family and the income from their newly started direct sales business. Today, five years later, Joel and his wife Gabby have grown their home business to become one of the top 1% in the industry, and also co-own a thriving multiple location automotive repair business.

Currently Joel and Gabby continue building both businesses as they home school their five children, serve their church family in various ways including singing on the worship team and leading a discipleship group, and desire to honor God in everything they are called to do.
