Mosaic Law or Torah

  • The first five books of the old Testament contains the Mosaic Law:
    • Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy (Pentateuch) -
  • Christian are not bound by all of the Mosaic Law but no not dismiss it either (2 Tim 3:16)
  • The Law was given for ‘God’s chosen people’
  • Many of the Law’s regulations were aimed at making Israel distinct from the surrounding nations.

  • You really Can’t fully understand Jesus, and Christianity without understanding the ‘Old Covenant’ and the Old Testament
