Alex attended the Manhattan School of Music where he earned both his Bachelors and Masters in piano performance. He is currently pursuing his DMA at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Alex has reached the semi-finals round for America’s Got Talent when he was only a teenager and has performed on Temple University’s WRI 90.1 radio show. Alex has also been featured as a solo artist and a concerto pianist at the Mason Gross School of the arts where he recently played Mendelsson’s first piano concerto in g minor. He is also a  certified Steinway Educational Partner!

Today Alex dives deep into his methods of practice and what it takes to find excellence. He started playing the piano at a very young age. It was incredible to hear his story and the challenges that he has faced. This episode really demonstrates the dedication and sacrifice that it takes to become master.
