Michael Williams (Nic Cage) is a broke, wounded Marine vet who wanders into a small-town Wyoming bar to be mistaken by bar owner, Wayne Brown (J.T. Walsh) as a hired killer from Texas named Lyle. When he agrees to kill Wayne’s wife (played by Lara Flynn Boyle), Michael then doubles the amount when the wife he’s supposed to kill pays him to double-cross her husband and kill him instead. But that’s just the beginning because the true hired killer, Lyle, from Dallas (Dennis Hopper) shows up and things get really interesting. How is Michael going to survive the mess he’s gotten himself into?
Join Bill, Colin and Writer/Director/Producer Frank Merle (NAMAKA) as they spiral down into John Dahl’s remarkable Neo-Noir.
