I believe in people, and I will choose to find the best in people.

By us having faith in people, we learn that it doesn’t have to all be on our shoulders.  We can’t be consistently looking behind ourselves to make sure no one stabs us in the back.  It’s counter-productive and it’s a sad statement to make on the world we want to live in.  Yes, not everyone will be out for our best interests, but if we choose to see everyone as untrustworthy then we will be creating a bleak and dark world.  We will not be able to see those who really are good and really do want to help.  Everyone is trying the best they can, and if we can find more ways to believe in people we will find more individuals who go above and beyond.  Our expectations dictate what we receive.
