2 Brothers Talk Games

018 - In Like Flinthook

Listen Later

Hey all,
We’d like to thank Gavin Dunne for allowing us to use his music free of charge.  It’s little things like that that help us do what we do.
Also this week we tried out zencastr as our recording service.  Paul says the quality and post options are excellent, so if podcasting is something you’re interested in you should definitely look into it.
We did a shorter podcast this week as we’re going to be recording a live playthrough of “The Way of All Flesh.” a game created by Josh Jordan and was part of the Imposters Kickstarter.  His website is out at: http://joshtjordan.com/  If interesting one shot RPG’s are your thing look him up and get in on what he’s got going on.
We also talk about the upcoming Witcher TV series.  We’re both eager to see how that one goes as the aim is for it to be closer to the books than the game.  Sapkowski might be happy, we’ll see how the CDPR loyalty brigade copes with excessive Eastern European thinking.
We’re also kind of excited for FarCry 5.  Wildly and Westernly excited you could say.  We’re not quite Dancing with Wolves, but we’re quietly confident it’ll be a good time for all concerned.
Paul has been branching out into other Podcasts and found a Gem in Dragons, Sexy Robots and Adventures. Check it out at: www.dsrapodcast.com
We’ve both been playing Flinthook and been having a lovely time.  It’s the best almost Spiderman game you can get for a quick $15.00.
We also had our first question from a listener!  Exciting stuff and we’d like to get your thoughts!
