Gayatri is an experienced Healthcare professional who has clinical, teaching, and research experience in leading international universities and hospitals. She is currently the founder and CEO of a Chicago based non-profit called the Soondra Foundation! During this interview we dive into her passion for healthcare as a physical therapist in India and how she discovered the important intersection between money and healthcare.

We speak about the healthcare system in India and how people must pay FIRST before getting any type of treatment. You might wonder how this affects the poor working class of india. Through being incubated at the prestigious Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, the Soondra Foundation was born. It's mission is to provide healthcare access through micro-grants to the working poor in India during medical emergencies.
