#018: Our Daily (Sourdough) Bread w/ Luke Robinson

Listen Later

Sourdough is having a moment during this quarantine thing...and it's not too late to hop on the bandwagon. In this episode, Tyler interviews Luke Robinson, a Philadelphia native and bread fanatic, about his pursuit of beauty through the baking of sourdough bread. They discuss causes of the craze, why starters have personalities and pet names, and Jesus' apparent obsession with leaven, bread, and wine in his teachings. Trained as a physician assistant, Luke followed the still, small voice he heard in church, on big waves, and in the mountains. What did he hear? Make bread!

He invented it."
