This week on The Bottom Line with KCLR we hear from Kilkenny based entrepreneur Nicki Hoyne of myshiningarmour.com. Nicki chats to John about her online accessories and gifting store. She discusses how and when the business came about, how she got her business featured in some of world’s leading fashion Magazines, as well as, offering some advice for those who may be thinking of starting up their own business.
 
Over the last number of weeks Amplitude the conference on disruptive Innovation and the industries involved have been a feature on the show and this week John Purcell attended the conference to hear more on disruptive innovation. Our industry focus this week was Manufacturing, Engineering and Design and John Spoke with Ailish Delaney, Technology Gateway Manager at Design + in Institute of Technology Carlow and Ramesh Raghavendra SEAM (South Eastern Applied Materials) Centre Director & Technology Gateway Manager in Waterford Institute of Technology.
 
 Also in attendance at the conference was Minister John Halligan who officially opened the conference. John spoke with Minister Halligan about the central role innovation plays in Irish Industries.
