Lawrence Chlebeck is a marine biologist for the Humane Society International Australia. He is campaigning for the removal of shark nets on the Eastern Australian Coastline.

Despite the disappointing news that the NSW Government will return the shark nets again in September 2023 there is a growing support for their removal. These nets indiscriminately kill non targeted species including dolphins, rays and turtles.
