For this episode, I invited our friend Rachel Walt back to the podcast to chat more about surrendering to the outcome of our decisions. If the idea of letting go of control makes you anxious, I totally get it. Rachel talks us through practical and actionable ways to make surrendering more accessible so we can have more confidence in the decisions we make - both big and small.

She has a background in holistic health coaching, community organizing, and Speech-Language Pathology. Rachel’s top tips on surrendering to the outcome:

  • During pivotal breakthrough moments, it may be tempting to ask others for their input and perspective, but don’t forget to check in with yourself and process how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking on your own first.
  • We need to train our subconscious mind to trust our own judgement. To do this, make a list of all the great decisions you’ve made in your life. You might notice your best decision-making happened when you followed your gut.
  • When we approach decisions from a place of love and trust, we can have more confidence in our decisions and surrender to the outcome.
