Rick and Clark discuss varying possibilities about where Jesus' soul/spirit was during the time he was in the tomb. This is one of those difficult questions that can't be nailed down with a fast, easy, simple answer. What we need to focus on is the real purpose of the three days between his death and resurrection, what that meant to his disciples, and what it means to us today.
