In this episode of our podcast, Max Kögl visits the exhibition "BERG, DIE - Women on the Rise" in the visitor center at Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe together with curator Sibylle Kampl. Together we will walk through the various rooms of the exhibition and hear what prejudices the first Alpine pioneers had to struggle with and what dangers they faced due to the clothing conventions that were appropriate for their status but unsuitable for climbing and what drove the women to become summiteers despite all the resistance.
