She serves as Vice Chair for Graduate Studies and has appointments in Biomedical Engineering as well as Macromoelcular Science & Engineering. She earned a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 and spent 2 years at Baylor College of Medicine in the department of pediatrics as an NIH postdoctoral fellow.
