On this episode, I sat down with the co-owner, co-founder of Rev’d Indoor Cycling, Meaghan St. Marc. She is a relentless, compassionate leader, mama to Malachi and Mia, military wife to Matt (thank you both for your service), a daughter, sister, friend, and mentor to so many people, myself included.
Our conversation is centered around nourishing ourselves, first out of necessity and now for sustainability. We talk about some relatively soul-crushing topics, so in an effort to be fully transparent and provide somewhat of a trigger warning, please know that we will touch upon subjects including depression, anxiety, burnout, miscarriages, post-partum, and body dysmorphia.
Now, I understand that these topics can be emotionally challenging, and may stir up your own personal experiences or memories. I encourage you to please prioritize your mental well-being and engage with this episode only if you feel as though you’re in a safe enough headspace to do so.
If at any point during the episode, you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or in need of support, I’d strongly encourage you to reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional. Please always remember that your emotions are valid, and your well-being matters.
Please take care of yourself throughout this episode and know that you are absolutely not alone. We're here to share stories, provide insight, foster understanding, and hopefully shed a little light for anyone stuck in their own darkness.
