Leah and I have known each other since 2016. I met her through a social gathering that quickly turned to a regular meet up when we both became leaders of an organization based in San Diego. I’m inspired by Leah’s generosity to give her time and energy towards others. Whether that’s helping organize an event or making time to catch up with family and friends; she deeply cares about people. Pursuing a career in firefighting put Leah through the fire of choosing survival between what matters the most. In this conversation, Leah is less than a month away before moving to East Coast where she finds herself in a dream that set ablaze a desire to keep pursuing relationships.
