#RAIDERNATION Players Surprises Abound!  Well, the one thing I can say about CUTS and PRACTICE SQUADS and RELEASES and 'Wink Wink Handshake Agreements' is... that there's ALWAYS gonna be some that surprise you.  I thought FOR SURE that the Raiders had a 'wink wink' agreement to get Safety Karl Joseph back on their roster AFTER the 'Initial 53' was whittled to a 'Post IR 53'... but noooooooooooo... KJ is back in the AFC Central, this time with the Stillers (SIC)

The Saints will play their first 'home game' of the year in Jacksonville due to Hurricane Ida, which per reports of locals made Hurricane Katrina seem like a 'somewhat bad thunderstorm' in comparison.  Hey... I DIDN'T SAY THIS... Louisiana Residents were quoted saying that!! My best to all who've dealt with HORRIBLE WEATHER, FLOODING, etc recently...

In Baseball... The NL East Race is TIGHTER... the AL East Race portends to be TIGHTER with the Sawks and Yanks battling the Rays... anyone else paying attention in Baseball? NOPE... most folks have turned to FOOTBALL ... COLLEGE GAMES OF CONSEQUENCE starting this weekend... and ONE WEEK until the Start of the NFL Season as the Cowpokes (I'll be nice) coming into RayJay to face the Fake Pirates (can't be nice.... lol)
