02. When Did the Rules Become Less About the Game and More About Sides?
Rules are easy to support when they help our side. They get harder when they cost us something.
Today we take a look at what happens when rules stop acting like shared boundaries and start becoming tools we use only when they work in our favor.
The question is not whether rules should ever be challenged. Some rules are unfair, outdated, unclear, or applied unevenly. The harder question is whether we care about the rule itself, or only the outcome it produced.
Before we react, maybe we should ask whether our principles still hold when the teams are reversed.
