Back in 2011, I was working in a corporate office, and I was frustrated. I wanted a promotion but it wasn't happening fast enough, even though I was delivering targets, completing extra projects, and known for getting things done. 

In this The Leading with Grace episode, I reflect on my experience and how I discovered the realities that held me back from being a better leader and getting the role I wanted.

The truth was that subconscious programming from societal messaging (and my parents), and an addiction to busyness were the problem. I talk about how similar conditioning affects women as leaders and why it's keeping so many of them from the top.
