Karl was told no. But he didn’t stop there. He was a new training director for a company but he didn’t have any education in the art and science of adult education. Not wanting to wing it, he found Boston University offered a master’s degree that only took nine months to complete. Karl asked his organization to allow him the time off to go to classes and to pay for the program. He was told no.
