In June 1993, Lorena and John Bobbitt made international news when Lorena severed her husband’s penis with a kitchen knife while he was asleep in bed. This case gained notoriety for being one of the “most disturbing domestic dispute stories” to ever hit the news, but like usual, that wasn't the whole story. This week, Sarah takes us through this case, including our very own connections to the people involved in the story and asks Emily to take a side on the insanity defense.
